Can I claim PDUs for a course?
Scrum.org
Students of Scrum.org courses are able to claim 14 PDUs after attending the equivalent of a two-day Applying Professional Scrum (APS), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner - Advanced (PSPO-A), Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS), Professional Agile Leadership Essentials (PAL-E), Professional Scrum with User Experience (PSU), or Professional Scrum with Kanban (PSK) course, 7 PDUs for the equivalent of a one-day Professional Agile Leadership - Evidence-Based Management (PAL-EBM) or Professional Scrum Facilitation Skills (PSFS) course and 21 PDUs after attending the equivalent of a three-day Applying Professional Scrum for Software Development (APS-SD) and Professional Scrum Master and Product Owner (PSMPO) courses.
Students can claim PDUs under PMI's "Education courses provided by other third-party providers” category. PDUs can be claimed online at https://ccrs.pmi.org. They do not specify the categories covered by the training. This gives course attendees the flexibility to distribute the points in whichever categories they need.
Please go to the Scrum.org PDU webpage for more information and guidance.
BCS
Students of BCS, The Chartered Institute of IT courses may be eligible to claim up to 14 PDUs after attending the two-day BCS Foundation Certificate in Agile course. There is no guidance available on how the PDUs may be aligned to the PMI Talent Triangle™, so it is down to the individual to determine how they will be assigned.
Agility in Mind can provide a certificate of attendance as proof to claim PDUs.
